1. Preliminary Remarks

The IVW Reporting module is available for purchase in the contracting company in the live system.
Copies supplied to fixed subscribers under a subscription contract are recorded as print offers. In addition to subscriptions at the regular subscription price, this can also include various special subscription forms, for example:
  • student subscriptions
  • individual sales
  • free issues
  • other sales
  • e-paper
For more information, visit the IVW's website or contact your responsible inspector.

2. Required Components for Using IVW Rules

IVW rules obtain data from different areas and combine this data in a reporting list.
To use an IVW rule for print offers, the following components must be created in the plenigo Merchant Backend:

3. Create IVW Rules for Print

A IVW rule for print always refers to at least one defined price sheet. However, different price sheets within an IVW rule can also be used for the following:
  • reference full price
  • price for other sales
Once at least one price sheet has been created, the IVW rule can be created as follows:
General information
  • Enter report title and internal title.
  • Optionally, add a description.
  • Option "Price Type" differentiates between
    • Period Based - reports the total revenue of the accounting period defined in the offer.
The sales of all publishing dates defined in the corresponding delivery list within the accounting period are added together.
    • Issue Based - reports the single prices of the accounting period defined in the offer.
The publishing dates defined in the associated delivery list are reported individually within the accounting period.
  • The IVW type defines and differentiates between subscriptions, student subscriptions and individual sales.
Information on the reference full price
  • The price sheet defines the reference full price.
  • In addition to the reference full price, percentage deviations can be defined, which define the limits of the full reference price:
    • a maximum deviation upwards
    • a maximum deviation downwards

Note:

  • For IVW rules, we recommend to create and maintain separate price sheets which are not used with offers.
  • Deviations of the reference full price can occur by discounts.
Information on other sales
  • The price sheet defines the price for sales which cannot be defined as subscriptions or individual sales.
  • Other sales only allow one maximum deviation downwards.

4. Combine All Components at the Offer

  • Create price sheets for IVW rules.
  • Create delivery lists for offers.
  • Create an IVW rule.
  • Add the delivery list to an offer.
  • Add the IVW rule to a product contract.

Note:

Several IVW rules can be used within one offer.
