The identity and age verification module is used to check the authenticity of an identification document (ID card, passport or driver's license) and to carry out age verification so that, for example, offers can be made at a reduced rate depending on age, which is why the check also serves as the basis for the age-related rules.
You can either use plenigo or Stripe Identity to use this function.
To be able to use Stripe Identity, you also need to conclude a contract with stripe.

Stripe Identity can also be used if Stripe is not used as PSP. A Stripe account must be created. Once the account has been created, please reach out to the plenigo support. We will have Stripe activate Stripe Identity.
Data Protection: The end customers' data is never saved. The data is only used in the moment of the verification and deleted immediately after. |
The module must be activated in the contracting company. Once successfully activated, the settings can be made in the client.
