plenigo uses the “building block principle” when creating offers. This means that the individual building blocks are built first so that they can be put together in any combination at the end.
This entry deals with price segments, price sheets and product contracts.
Price Segment
The creation of a price segment is optional. It is particularly useful when offers are sold in different countries where different prices apply. Instead of creating three different price sheets, each with three different prices and three different offers, you can simply create three price segments and add them to one price sheet and one offer.
Example:
I would like to market my offers in Germany and the EU. However, the price in Germany should be different from the price for the other EU countries. My monthly subscription should cost €10.00 in Germany and €12.99 in the EU. I now create two price segments (Germany and EU). I do not define the price in the price segment itself, only the country. The price is only defined in the price sheet.
Price Sheet
The previously created price segments are listed in the price sheet. The different prices can now be assigned here (Germany: €10.00 and EU: €12.99).
The main advantage of a price sheet is that only one price sheet needs to be created when creating several offers with the same price. For example, if I market several offers that I offer for €0.00 with a 3-month trial period, I only have to create one price sheet with the price €0.00 and can use this price sheet again and again.
Product Contract
A product contract is only required when creating subscriptions.
A product contract is only required for the creation of subscriptions. The general conditions of the subscription are defined in the product contract (accounting period, notice period, subscription interval and price).
Let's again use the example that I want to offer several offers with a 3-month trial period for €0.00. I define the corresponding framework conditions in the product contract and add the €0.00 price sheet. With this product contract, I can now create several subscriptions with a 3-month trial period.
