1. Preliminary Remarks

In the Merchant Backend there are two different options to start searching.
  1. via the global search
  2. via the search in the corresponding menu items (e.g. Customers)
In the global search, which can be used from any point in the Merchant Backend, only IDs/numbers (e.g. Order ID, Offer ID, Customer No.) can be searched for.
In the search in the corresponding menu item, there are various criteria, depending on the menu item, according to which it can be searched or filtered (these are shown in a table in point 3).

2. Global Search

The global search is located at the top of the Merchant Backend and can be used from wherever in the Merchant Backend.
In the global search, it can only be searched for IDs/numbers.
If the search returns a hit, it is immediately opened in the detail view.

3. Search (Filter Function) in the Corresponding Menu Items

In most menu items in the Merchant Backend, there is the possibility to search or filter for certain criteria.
If the search returns a hit, it is displayed in the list view.
The exception of this rule is the search for voucher codes in the Voucher menu item. If a voucher code is entered into the search field, the result is immediately shown so that the user does not have to look for the code in a long list.

In the following table all search criteria in the corresponding menu item are listed:
