1. Preliminary Remarks

The base of every plenigo project is the access to our Merchant Backend. This central, web-based user interface offers various possibilities for configuration to show company structures. The requirements vary from customer to customer and have to be taken into consideration when creating an account.

2. Difference between Contracting Company and Clients

plenigo provides the initial access to the Merchant Backend (plenigo dashboard) to the customer. When the customers open the interface, they will land on the central view in which various settings have to be made. Generally, we differentiate between contracting company and clients. One account can consist of one contracting company and several clients.

The contracting company plays the central role in plenigo and can be compared to a holding company. Clients can be compared to subsidiaries.

In the contracting company,

  • the access rights for employees in the client can be managed.
  • user groups can be created and managed.
  • a consistent bookkeeping can be guaranteed across the entire company.
  • customer numbers and invoice numbers can be defined across the company.
  • an e-mail verification can be set.
  • clients can be viewed.

In summary, in the contracting company the basic settings can be made. In the clients, the operative business with for example customers, subscriptions, orders, invoices, etc. is carried out here.

The contracting company is created by plenigo. Clients can be created and managed by the customers.
