- Create Access Rights
1. Preliminary Remarks
Access rights represent the authorizations that grant a customer access to the services they have purchased. Access rights are therefore used to control which services are activated for the customer via an offer in the Merchant Backend.
Access rights are a necessary component for offers within the Merchant Backend.
2. Create Access Rights
For creating access rights, there are two mandatory fields:
1. Title: for internal allocation.
2. Access Right (uniqueID): The UniqueId may only be assigned once for an access right, as this ID is used to activate a predefined authorization for the customer.
2. Access Right (uniqueID): The UniqueId may only be assigned once for an access right, as this ID is used to activate a predefined authorization for the customer.
Optional fields:
3. Additional data for third-party systems
4. Description for this access right
Example:
Customers are offered both exclusive articles on a website and access to the electronic edition of a magazine. For this purpose, the access rights Article and Issue, which can be assigned to different offers, are created.
Three offers can be flexibly created from these two access rights:
Offer 1: Access to exclusive articles on a website, through the Article access right
Offer 2: Access to the electronic edition of a magazine, through the Issue access right
Offer 3: Combination package of offer 1 and offer 2, with both access rights
