1. Preliminary Remarks

Multi User Offers enable purchasers (main users) to invite more users for shared use.
It is possible to
  • determine the number of additional users for the offer.
  • to create offers in B2C context with just a few additional users (for example 1-10).
  • to create offers with several dozen additional users, for example in B2B context.
Possible multi user offer types:
  • single products
  • simple time-based subscriptions and
  • complex time-based subscription

2. Create a Multi User Offer

In the main menu Offers and +Create an Offer, there is the Multiuser tab.

During offer creation

  • Fill in the standard fields.
  • Determine the User Count for a Multi User Offer*.
This is the number of additional users. If 5 additional accesses are required, 4 needs to be entered here (5 accesses in total - 1 main user = 4 accesses).
After saving, the number of the users cannot be reduced.
  • Optionally, add an Invitation url which will lead to a landing page outside plenigo.
This URL is used for the invitation e-mail which is generated by this offer.

Note: To ensure that the invitation for multi-user access by e-mail works smoothly, it is recommended to use invitation URLs. The URL is displayed as a link in the e-mail invitation so that the invitee can redeem their invitation code as easily as possible. For this purpose, the functionality for entering and checking the invitation code must be implemented on the landing page.

3. Edit Existing Offer

  • The number of the possible additional users in an offer can be increased, however, it cannot be reduced.
  • Changes only affect future purchases.
  • Already purchased products cannot be changed subsequently.

4. Manage Multi User Offers

Multi user offers can be managed either by the customer in the Self Service or by the customer supporter in the Merchant Backend.
Entry Self Service: User Administration
Entry Merchant Backend: Multi User Account
