1. Preliminary Remarks

A wallet is required to create credit-based offers. The wallet is the credit account from which consumed units are debited. To create such an offer, you must link a subscription of the type "credit-based subscriptions" to a wallet. The credits generated via the subscription are then posted to the Wallet, and consumed units are withdrawn from the Wallet. In the creation of a Wallet, the validity period can be determined, which then also applies equally to the credit-based offer.

Note: An eventlist can be attached to the wallet. However, this is only required if you want to create an offer that customers can use to redeem credits for events, such as workshops or webinars.

The subitem "Wallets" can be reached via the menu item "Products". In the overview, if applicable, already created wallets are summarized. Here you can see the Internal Title and the corresponding ID of the wallet. In the column "Commands" are the "Details" and the "Edit" function.

2. Adding a Wallet

Clicking the "Add a Wallet" button opens the form for creating a wallet.

The following fields can be filled in the form:
(1) Internal Title (mandatory): This is where the wallet is named. This name is only displayed internally.
(2) Unique ID (mandatory): An arbitrarily chosen ID, by means of which you uniquely identify these credit settings.
(3) Credit validity: Here you can specify how long the credit should be valid if not recharged.
Example: The customer has purchased 10 credits with the offer. Then it can be specified that a credit charge must be used up within one year, otherwise the remaining credit will expire. The account will be recharged with 10 credits again and it will be billed again. The validity can also be set to infinite. For this, the "Use a validity period" checkbox must be unchecked. In case of infinite validity, the customer has "infinite" time to use up his 10 credits (after consumption, a recharge to 10 credits will still take place, as it is a subscription).
In the drop-down for selecting the time intervals, the options "Day", "Week", "Month" and "Year" open.
(4) Eventlist: Here, in the drop-down, a previously created event list is added to the wallet. However, this is only needed if you want to create an offer through which customers can redeem credits for events, such as workshops.
(5) Title (mandatory): A public title is entered here. This will be displayed to the customer.
