    1. Preliminary remarks

    n order to be able to test purchases in the plenigo stage system, a PayPal sandbox account must be created.
    A PayPal Business Account should already have been created for this.
    Two sandbox accounts were automatically created when registering the business account and then loggin in to the Developer dashboard. However, further accounts can be added.

    2. Create a sandbox account


    • Click on Testing Tools tab.
    • Click on Sandbox Accounts.


    • Click on Create account.
      • Create a Personal (Buyer) account.
      • Create a Business (Merchant) account.
    • The account can be managed via the three vertical dots in the list.
      • Click on View/Edit account to have the log in data displayed.

    3. Log in to a sandbox account

    In order to check if the creation of the sandbox accounts has been successful, open the following URL: https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/ 
    For Log-In, the log in data of the respective account (Buyer or Merchant account) is required. They can be viewed in the details as mentioned above.
