1. Preliminary Remarks

In this entry, we go into important settings that must be made in the client before the go-live. These settings cannot be made in the contracting company, but must be made per client. These settings have no effect on the contracting company or other clients.
There is a corresponding entry in the Knowledge Base for each setting. These are linked below.

2. Settings in the Client

Payment-Service-Provider-Connection and Payment Methods Settings
In the menu item Settings > Financal > Payment Methods, a payment service provider can be linked to the Merchant Backend on a client-specific basis and settings can be made for the payment methods.
Due to the fact that the settings in the client have no effect on other clients, a different PSP could theoretically be linked for each client, different payment methods activated and a different process control configured.

Invoice Settings
In the menu item Settings > Financal > Invoice Settings, individual settings can be made for each client. This allows you to create your own invoice templates for each client, for example.

Accounting
In the menu item Products > Accounting, client-specific ledgers, cost centers and tax codes can be maintained.

Terms and Conditions and Opt-Ins
The texts that are displayed to the customer can be maintained in the menu items Settings > Applications > Terms and Conditions/Opt-In. Only one variant of the texts can be active at any one time.
Both texts can be displayed and queried both during registration and during the checkout. This must be explicitly activated in the corresponding menu items.

During registration: The Terms and Conditions and Opt-in can be activated in the SSO menu item.

During the Checkout: The opt-in can be activated in the menu item Checkout > +Add variant for payment methods. The terms and conditions are always displayed in the checkout by default.
