1. Preliminary Remarks
In the plenigo Merchant Backend, voucher campaigns can be created and managed in order to implement different campaigns.
Two types of vouchers are available:

Individual Vouchers:
Individual voucher codes are generated for each redemption. Each code can only be redeemed once. This option enables precise control over the number of redemptions. -
Campaign Vouchers:
A single voucher code is created that can be redeemed multiple times. The maximum number of redemptions is defined in the offer. This variant is particularly suitable for campaigns with a broad target group appeal.
In addition, the voucher redemption can be assigned to different platforms such as Instagram or Facebook using channels. This makes it possible to evaluate the performance of the promotion on the individual channels at a later date to determine which channel achieved the best results.
These flexible design options allow the voucher campaigns to be optimally adapted to different marketing strategies.
2. Create a Voucher Campaign
To create a new voucher campaign, in the action bar, click on + Add Campaign.
Base Data
In the base data area, the following data is defined:
- Campaign name* - This name is intended for internal information. This name is not displayed to customers.
- Start and End Date - If no end date is specified, the voucher campaign is valid indefinitely.
- Offer ID* - The relevant offer to which the voucher campaign is to refer can be selected here. It is advisable to create your own offers for voucher campaigns.

Voucher Type - Choose between individual vouchers and campaign vouchers.
Individual vouchers are vouchers that can only be redeemed once, e.g. personalized vouchers for individual customers.
Campaign vouchers can be redeemed several times. These are suitable for voucher campaigns in social media.
Note: Voucher campaigns and therefore the codes they contain always refer to an offer. Voucher codes therefore do not discount existing offers. |
Channels
The number of voucher codes (individual vouchers) or the number of redemptions (campaign vouchers) can be defined in the Channels section.
This makes it possible, for example, to split a campaign across several social media channels in order to differentiate the redemptions by customers when evaluating the success of the campaign.
Note: If several channels are created within a voucher campaign, the numbers are added together to form a total number for the voucher campaign. This total number is shown in the overview of voucher campaigns. A maximum number of 10,000,000 redemptions/voucher codes is possible per channel. If several thousand codes are used, it may take some time to create the campaign after saving. |
