- The Session Tab
1. Preliminary Remarks
The Sessions tab provides an overview of all the customer's active sessions. This means, for example, that if the customer is logged into Self Service via their cell phone and computer, both sessions are displayed simultaneously in the Sessions tab. If the customer ends the session and logs out, the tab is empty. This means that only active sessions are displayed. The number of parallel logins can be defined in the SSO settings.
2. The Sessions Tab
As soon as a customer has logged in, the session is displayed at the same time. If the customer logs out again, the session also disappears.
Within the tile, information on the operating system, the browser and the login time is displayed. Either individual sessions can be deleted by clicking on the bin symbol or all sessions by clicking on the red button Delete all sessions.
The settings in the menu item Settings > Applications > SSO on parallel logins can prevent too many parallel logins. If for example two parallel logins are allowed, the end customer cannot log in on a third device. If the end customer does not know anymore where and how often they have logged in their account, this tab can be helpful to answer the question why the end customer cannot log in with the desired device. Active sessions can be deleted, if required.
